Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years of foodservice management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Services Technology or Management or related field
  • Associate degree plus four years of related experience
  • Five to seven years of direct foodservice operational management experience
  • Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Previous profit and loss or contract-managed service experience
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and coaching skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with management, clients, customers, and associates
  • Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, email, and Internet
  • ServSafe certified

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement overall operating strategy aligned with client business strategy
  • Take full ownership of driving outcomes with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Evaluate personnel, operations, and culinary situations and make appropriate recommendations
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor with resilience and adaptability
  • Perform daily walk-throughs ensuring compliance with health regulations and company standards
  • Direct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
  • Lead pre-meal briefings and staff meetings for ongoing communication
  • Advise and update executives and team on relevant information in a timely manner
