Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in assisted living dining services or healthcare food management
- Demonstrated leadership in dining or culinary operations
- Understanding of budgeting and inventory control
- Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability for on-site visits and on-call responsibilities

- Proven experience in dining services management or executive chef role in assisted living or healthcare settings
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
- Budget management and cost control expertise
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and be available on call as needed
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Job Duties
- Establish and maintain quality and service standards within the Dining Services Department
- Manage staffing levels and scheduling to optimize productivity
- Oversee food and supply inventory management and purchasing
- Maintain budget guidelines and control food costs
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards
- Develop and train personnel for high performance and customer service
- Conduct on-site visits and individualized assessments at least every 45 days
- Be available on call or delegate qualified alternate for regulatory compliance
- Provide appropriate delegation of nursing tasks related to dining services
