Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Services Technology, Management or related field
- or associate degree plus four years of related experience
- five to seven years of foodservice operational management experience
- ServSafe certification
- strong leadership and communication skills
- proficiency in computer programs and Microsoft Office
- knowledge of HACCP and OSHA guidelines
- ability to manage multi-unit operations
- previous budget and P&L management experience
- customer service orientation
- ability to meet physical and legal requirements for the role
Job Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field, or A.A. degree plus four years of directly related experience
- multi-unit experience preferred
- culinary experience a plus
- five to seven years of direct foodservice operational management experience
- knowledge of inventory and purchasing control
- strong knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls
- P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable
- strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to communicate at management, client, customer and associate levels
- excellent financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills
- proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, email and Internet
- ServSafe certified
Job Duties
- Manages salaried managers and hourly associates in the Food Service Department
- leads all aspects of the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account
- interviews, hires, and trains associates
- plans, assigns, and directs work
- appraises performance
- addresses complaints and resolves problems
- prepares and leads annual budget
- uses company systems for completion of required daily, weekly, monthly reports such as inventory, cash reports, production records, payroll/time-keeping
- coordinates and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in adherence to company food standards, sanitation and safety guidelines
- performs other duties as assigned
