Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Experience managing a dining service department
  • Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards
  • Basic accounting and mathematical abilities
  • Compassionate and patient personality
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operations of the Dietary Department
  • Oversee the food service department and be responsible for preparation and directing of attractive nutritious meals to all residents
  • Supervise all food service personnel
  • Responsible for purchase, receipt, storage, and preparation of food for the community
  • Ensure compliance with kitchen sanitation and safety standards
  • Manage food inventory and supplies
  • Prepare necessary reports related to dietary operations
