- Abide by all relevant policies, guidelines, and statutes, such as those concerning safety, health, and labor laws
- Create and uphold protocols for the procurement, acceptance, handling, storage, cooking, and presentation of food items, in addition to developing menus
- Forecast operational elements and analyze any differences
- Accountable for managing accounting tasks associated with these elements
- Verify that the necessary standards for cleanliness and safety are upheld in designated areas
- Oversee and manage unit staff in areas of production, marketing, ensuring quality standards, controlling expenses, overseeing workforce management, and providing training to employees
