Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in dining services management
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service
- Ability to lead and train a diverse team
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including any shift

Job Duties
- Manages food supplies and personnel to ensure operations are performed efficiently within budget and in compliance with health regulations and company policies
- Manage, schedule, evaluate and direct the kitchen staff
- Ensure a sanitary dining room complying with all health and safety codes, licensing regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Supervise and direct the cleaning of all dining and food services areas
- Develop and implement training, policies and processes to ensure kitchen staff maintain proper grooming, dress and etiquette
- Survey residents to determine satisfaction levels and make corrections as necessary
- Assist servers, cooks and dining services associates in their job duties and assume activities when needed
- Ensure residents are greeted and seated properly and make new residents feel welcome
- Supervise tracking of resident meal attendance and communicate absences for safety checks
- Aid in community marketing through positive interactions, dress and behavior
