Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in food service or dining management
  • ability to work flexible hours including some weekends
  • strong organizational skills
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • valid food handler certification preferred
  • willingness to work as lead chef when required

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the Dining Services Department
  • prepare food items and serve food to residents within scheduled time frame
  • follow menu cycle noting changes or substitutions
  • act as lead chef up to three days per week
  • ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • manage dining services staff and schedules
  • maintain inventory and ordering of supplies
