Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in dining services or food service management
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Flexibility to work as lead chef when needed
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe dining environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in food service management or related field
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of menu planning and food safety standards
  • Ability to work effectively with seniors and in a team environment
  • Culinary experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operations of the Dining Services Department
  • Prepare food items and serve food to residents within scheduled time frame
  • Follow menu cycle and note changes or substitutions
  • Act as lead Chef up to 3 days per week
  • Manage dining staff and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Coordinate with other departments to enhance resident dining experience
  • Oversee inventory and ordering of dining supplies
