Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in dining services or food preparation
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items
- Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting
- Compliance with health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food service management or culinary operations
- Knowledge of senior nutrition and dietary requirements
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Culinary certification or degree preferred
Job Duties
- Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the Dining Services Department
- Prepare food items and serve food to residents within scheduled time frame
- Follow menu cycle noting changes or substitutions
- Act as lead chef up to three days per week
- Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage dining services staff and coordinate scheduling
- Ensure excellent customer service and resident satisfaction
