Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operations of the dietary department
  • Oversee the food service department and supervise all food service personnel
  • Responsible for the preparation or directing of attractive nutritious meals for residents
  • Manage purchasing, receipt, and storage of food supplies
  • Ensure kitchen sanitation and safety standards are implemented and maintained
  • Monitor compliance with dietary guidelines and nutritional needs of seniors
  • Prepare reports related to food service operations and inventory management
