Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience managing a dining service department within the hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards
  • Basic accounting and math skills
  • Compassionate and patient with senior adults
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Ability to communicate in English

  • Knowledge and experience managing and applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical abilities to complete necessary reports
  • Compassionate, patient, and kind with a heart for working with senior adults
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • At least 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operations of the Dietary Department
  • Oversee the food service department and is responsible for the preparation and or directing of attractive nutritious meals to all residents of the community and supervising all food service personnel
  • Responsible for the purchase, receipt, storage, preparation of food for the community
  • Ensure compliance with kitchen sanitation and safety standards
  • Manage inventory and food supplies
  • Complete necessary reports including basic accounting tasks
  • Lead and train food service staff
  • Maintain a positive and caring environment for residents
