Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in dining services or hospitality management
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Ability to follow state and federal regulations
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly
  • Willingness to lead by example and mentor staff

  • Experience in managing and motivating a team of employees
  • Knowledge of dining operations
  • Ability to train and schedule team members
  • Understanding of State and Federal regulations related to food service and residents' rights
  • Commitment to values such as excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity and compassion
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations
  • Flexible schedule including availability on weekends, evenings, holidays and special events

Job Duties

  • Create wait staff scheduling
  • Recommend changes to food products as necessary to enhance the dining experience and improve the company's profitability
  • Supervise the closure of the dining rooms at the end of dinner
  • Help maintain appropriate payroll budgeting
  • Assist in managing kitchen and dining staff to achieve customer service and financial goals of dining department
  • Help create a positive work environment in order to maintain low staff turnover
  • Assist in coordinating front and back of house staff to create a seamless flow
  • Responsible for training and development of new wait staff
  • Provide appropriate coaching and counseling to employees so they can perform job duties effectively
  • Support the needs of the dining department
