Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in dining services or hospitality management
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • strong organizational and scheduling skills
  • knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • ability to work under pressure and make decisions
  • flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • willingness to uphold company values and culture

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality or dining services management
  • strong leadership and team motivation skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • ability to train, coach and mentor staff
  • understanding of dining operations and service standards
  • knowledge of State and Federal regulations related to dining and resident rights
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • commitment to high standards of hospitality, teamwork, integrity, and compassion

Job Duties

  • Create wait staff scheduling
  • recommend changes to food products to enhance the dining experience and improve profitability
  • supervise the closure of dining rooms at the end of dinner
  • help maintain appropriate payroll budgeting
  • assist in managing kitchen and dining staff to achieve customer service and financial goals
  • help create a positive work environment to maintain low staff turnover
  • assist in coordinating front and back of house staff to create a seamless flow
  • be responsible for training and development of new wait staff
  • provide coaching and counseling to employees to perform effectively
  • support the needs of the dining department
