Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience or training in food service or dietary assistance preferred
  • Ability to follow established dining service procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • Good physical stamina for standing and walking during shifts
  • Willingness to engage positively with elderly residents

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with regular and texture modified diets is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to resident-centered care
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Assist with dining services functions in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Ensure each resident receives a high-quality dining experience
  • Support the preparation and serving of regular and texture modified diets
  • Promote person-centered care by treating the community as the residents' home
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
  • Collaborate with team members to provide excellent resident care
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene standards in food handling
