Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience or training in food service or dietary assistance preferred
- Ability to follow established dining service procedures
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Good physical stamina for standing and walking during shifts
- Willingness to engage positively with elderly residents
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with regular and texture modified diets is a plus
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to resident-centered care
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Assist with dining services functions in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Ensure each resident receives a high-quality dining experience
- Support the preparation and serving of regular and texture modified diets
- Promote person-centered care by treating the community as the residents' home
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent resident care
- Adhere to safety and hygiene standards in food handling
