Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Graciously and respectfully assist residents in the dining room to be seated and make menu selections
- Initiate the serving of all entrees
- to include cold and hot beverage service, salad, soup, hot entrees, dessert service and last beverage service
- Clear tables throughout the meal
- Reset all tables in the dining room after meal service ends
- Assist with cleanup, such as washing and putting away dishes and utensils, vacuuming or sweeping and mopping floors, dusting, and watering plants
- Assist with food preparation as required
- Observe when food and dining room supplies are low and report to the Dining Services Director
- Strictly follow all cleaning schedules, sanitation checklists, and guidelines related to hygiene and infection control
- Follow all dining services policies and procedures, according to training manual
- Attend mandatory meetings as scheduled by Executive Director
- Maintain confidentiality of resident, community, employee, and company information
- Maintain working knowledge of fire and disaster plans and responsibilities under emergency conditions
- Perform other duties as assigned
