Job Requirements

  • Must satisfy all state health, licensure/certification, and background requirements

Job Duties

  • Graciously and respectfully assist residents in the dining room to be seated and make menu selections
  • Initiate the serving of all entrees
  • to include cold and hot beverage service, salad, soup, hot entrees, dessert service and last beverage service
  • Clear tables throughout the meal
  • Reset all tables in the dining room after meal service ends
  • Assist with cleanup, such as washing and putting away dishes and utensils, vacuuming or sweeping and mopping floors, dusting, and watering plants
  • Assist with food preparation as required
  • Observe when food and dining room supplies are low and report to the Dining Services Director
  • Strictly follow all cleaning schedules, sanitation checklists, and guidelines related to hygiene and infection control
  • Follow all dining services policies and procedures, according to training manual
  • Attend mandatory meetings as scheduled by Executive Director
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident, community, employee, and company information
  • Maintain working knowledge of fire and disaster plans and responsibilities under emergency conditions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
