Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, alternating weekends, and some holidays
- Consistent and predictable attendance
- Ability to follow community dining services policies and procedures
- Capability to perform light cleaning and basic kitchen tasks
- Must be at least 16 years old to avoid handling kitchen knives
- Willingness to complete required training including Safety Data Sheets and Relias training
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0 to 3 months experience in hospitality, fast food, or related field
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to listen attentively and communicate courteously
- Familiarity with proper table settings
- Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, alternating weekends, and some holidays
Job Duties
- Provide a pleasant meal experience for assisted living and memory care residents
- Prepare dining room for meals
- Serve plated food and beverages to residents
- Ensure correctness of resident menu selections
- Maintain beverage levels throughout the meal
- Clean dining rooms and service areas after meals
- Store equipment and clean kitchen appliances as scheduled
- Attend training and complete Relias training
- Follow community dining service policies and procedures
