Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years’ experience in similar culinary or dining services role preferred
  • Ability to provide healthy and nutritious meals
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to observe and communicate resident needs
  • Compliance with work safety and food service regulations
  • Willingness to undergo training and continuous learning

Job Qualifications

  • One to two years experience in a similar position preferred
  • Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to senior residents
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to use and learn new technology relevant to senior living dining services

Job Duties

  • Provide healthy food for residents
  • Maintain standards for dining services including efficient meal service delivery, customer service, and cleanliness of dining areas and kitchen
  • Report any problems, concerns, or issues observed with food service promptly and appropriately
  • Observe changes in resident status, needs, or preferences and communicate these observations to the relevant care team
  • Adhere to all work, safety, and administrative rules including compliance with local and state regulations
  • Participate in paid training and continuously improve culinary and service skills
  • Utilize available technologies to improve service efficiency and resident satisfaction
