Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or culinary role
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety standards
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Commitment to resident care and customer service
Job Qualifications
- One to two years experience in a similar position preferred
- Enjoy providing exceptional customer service
- Experience working with senior residents is an asset
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
Job Duties
- Provide healthy food for residents
- Maintain standards for dining services including efficient meal service delivery
- Ensure excellent customer service in dining room and kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas
- Report problems, concerns, and issues related to food service
- Observe changes in resident status, needs, or preferences and communicate appropriately
- Follow all work, safety, and administrative rules including local and state requirements
