Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary role preferred
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Basic knowledge of nutrition and dietary needs for seniors
Job Qualifications
- One to two years experience in a similar position preferred
- Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to senior residents
Job Duties
- Provide healthy food for residents
- Maintain standards for dining services including efficient meal service delivery, customer service and cleanliness of dining room and kitchen
- Report problems, concerns and issues observed with food service and communicate appropriately
- Observe changes in resident status, needs or preferences and communicate them appropriately
- Observe all work, safety, and administrative rules including local and state requirements
