Job Requirements
- Education or training relevant to culinary or food service preferred
- Ability to maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to safety standards
- Excellent communication skills to report observations and issues
- Ability to work flexible hours including availability on weekends or holidays
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing for extended periods
- Commitment to providing compassionate care and attention to resident needs
Job Qualifications
- One to two years experience in a similar position preferred
- Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to senior residents
Job Duties
- Provide healthy food for residents
- Maintain standards for dining services including efficient meal service delivery, customer service, and cleanliness of dining room and kitchen
- Report problems, concerns, and issues observed with food service and communicate them appropriately
- Observe changes in resident status, needs, or preferences and communicate them appropriately
- Observe all work, safety, and administrative rules including local and state requirements
