Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality desirable
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Serve residents and guest meals in a friendly and service-oriented manner
- Assure beverages, soups, and busing are completed according to proper procedures
- Ensure meal needs are met based on resident requests and diet restrictions
- Ensure the appearance and proper portions of food on each plate
- Work as runner serving entrees and desserts
- Clear resident plates and trash items throughout the meal
- Monitor for help needed in other areas and follow proper sanitation procedures during clean up
