Job Duties
- Ensures residents/guests have an enjoyable meal
- Ensures the assigned job is carried out in a professional, friendly manner
- Communicates appropriately with supervisors, dining room staff and guests
- Listens effectively
- Ensures proper production and presentation of all food items and provides maximum appeal and freshness
- Maintains kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedule
- Maintains a clean professional appearance
- Demonstrates basic food preparation and service knowledge
- Engages residents in conversation and anticipates their needs
- Serves plates including entrees and desserts
- Clears resident plates and trash throughout meal
- Monitors for help needed in other areas
- Follows proper sanitation procedures in clean up
