Job Duties
- Setup side station and perform assigned side prep work
- Provide immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating
- Distribute food and wine menus and answer questions
- Fill glasses with ice water if permitted and suggest menu items
- Take members' and guests' orders and suggestively sell food and beverage items
- Place orders with kitchen informing cooks of special instructions
- Assemble food on tray and procure items as needed
- Serve meals by courses in front of each person
- Check back to ensure member and guest satisfaction, replenishing water and butter as necessary
- Remove soiled dishes
- Present dessert menus, suggestions and serve dessert, coffee and after-dinner drinks
- Verify accuracy of prices, taxes, tips and other charges on all checks
- Present the bill and handle all cash and credit card charges according to procedures
- Keep tables, dining room and bus station areas clean
- Advise supervisor of complaints as soon as they occur
- Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned
- Attend pre-meal meetings as requested
- Turn in signed tip declaration form weekly
- Thank members and guests and invite them to return
- Follow local and state laws and club policies for service of alcoholic beverages
- Perform other duties assigned by managers
