Job Description

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Some dining server experience
  • Able to read, write and communicate effectively
  • Food handler certification and alcohol server certification
  • Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English

Job Qualifications

  • Prior serving experience in a restaurant, club, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred
  • Strong guest-service mindset with a passion for hospitality and teamwork
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with Members, guests, and teammates
  • Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic computer tools
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced service environment
  • Private club experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly, professional, and attentive table service to Members and guests in accordance with club service standards
  • Greet Members promptly, present menus, explain offerings, and answer questions regarding food and beverage selections
  • Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders using the club’s point-of-sale system
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation, accuracy, and quality
  • Maintain table appearance throughout the dining experience, including clearing courses, refilling beverages, and resetting place settings as needed
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the Member experience, including menu features, beverages, wine pairings, desserts, and after-dinner offerings
  • Monitor Member satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns, escalating issues to management when appropriate
