Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Some dining server experience
- Able to read, write and communicate effectively
- Food handler certification and alcohol server certification
- Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English
Job Qualifications
- Prior serving experience in a restaurant, club, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred
- Strong guest-service mindset with a passion for hospitality and teamwork
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with Members, guests, and teammates
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic computer tools
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced service environment
- Private club experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Provide friendly, professional, and attentive table service to Members and guests in accordance with club service standards
- Greet Members promptly, present menus, explain offerings, and answer questions regarding food and beverage selections
- Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders using the club’s point-of-sale system
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation, accuracy, and quality
- Maintain table appearance throughout the dining experience, including clearing courses, refilling beverages, and resetting place settings as needed
- Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the Member experience, including menu features, beverages, wine pairings, desserts, and after-dinner offerings
- Monitor Member satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns, escalating issues to management when appropriate
