Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in dining or food service preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as standing and walking for extended periods
  • reliable and punctual
  • friendly and compassionate demeanor
  • ability to work flexible shifts including mornings and evenings

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in assisted living dining or food service preferred
  • friendly, patient, and attentive attitude
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to provide excellent customer service with a compassionate approach
  • basic knowledge of food safety practices
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Serve meals while assisting residents as needed with dining and dietary needs
  • monitor resident activities and communicate any concerns to the care team
  • coordinate with food services and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient meal service
  • support residents' dignity, comfort, and enjoyment at every meal
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
  • adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • respond promptly to resident requests and preferences
