Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 30 lbs
  • Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions
  • Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping required
  • Manual dexterity for handling glassware and technology systems
  • Able to move swiftly in a fast-paced environment
  • Visual acuity for distance, closeness, color, depth, and adjusting focus as necessary, often in low or dimly lit areas
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required for California positions (can be obtained during training or within 60 days of hire)

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Customer-service oriented mindset
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certification for California positions (can be obtained during training or within 60 days of hire)

Job Duties

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive assistance based on guest preferences
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of our menu to confidently suggest and upsell items to guests
  • Prepare food and condiments, adhering to Outback quality standards
  • Ensure accurate fulfillment of guest orders to provide a memorable dining experience
  • Collaborate effectively and supportively with team members
  • Uphold stringent food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
  • Handle cash and credit transactions with precision
  • Assist throughout the restaurant as needed, exemplifying collaboration that is expected of all team members
