Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in the service or dining industry preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively with seniors and team members
  • food handler card or ability to obtain within 14 days
  • willingness to complete dementia mental health training within 90 days
  • reliable transportation to and from work
  • ability to work on-call shifts
  • clean background check

Job Duties

  • Deliver meals to residents promptly and accurately including taking and fulfilling orders
  • address resident and guest requests and ensure satisfaction in the dining area
  • verify order accuracy and food quality
  • report any issues or concerns to management immediately
  • assist with meal preparation and assembly as needed following menu guidelines and safety standards under the direction of the Cook or Dining Services Coordinator Manager
  • adhere to departmental procedures including sanitation safety and cleaning schedules
  • label and date food products in storage areas and dispose of refuse properly
  • set clear and clean tables handle dirty dishes dispose of waste and restock inventory as necessary
