Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- on-the-job training provided
- previous experience in food service preferred
- previous experience working in long-term care or with geriatric population preferred
- must possess outstanding communication skills
- must be able to follow oral and written instructions
- must have superior customer service skills

Job Duties
- Provide assistance in all dining service functions as directed
- serve meals timely ensuring palatability and appetizing appearance
- perform proper setting of tables and prepare meal trays
- serve resident meals in dining room, private dining room and deliver trays to resident rooms or apartments
- perform dishwashing and cleaning procedures maintaining safety and sanitation
- assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties per established policies
- ensure all dietary procedures are followed complying with sanitary regulations and policies
