- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of previous experience preferred
- applicable state or county licensure preferred
- CPR or BLS certification preferred

- proficiency in Internet browsers including Explorer, Chrome, and Fire Fox
- proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher
- familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- experience with HR related systems if applicable
Job Duties
- Supporting all catering, room service, special party needs, marketing functions
- taking drink and food orders, serving residents and guests professionally and efficiently
- maintaining a clean work area by assisting with washing pots, pans, and cooking utensils
- clearing, sanitizing, and setting tables, removing garbage, and completing daily kitchen and dining area cleaning checklists
- assisting in cleaning dining room floors, tables, and chairs after meals and special events
- possessing knowledge of individual resident dining needs
- assisting in controlling food costs when possible
- reading and following recipe books and labels
- safely operating and cleaning kitchen equipment
- understanding dining menus and communicating information to residents
- ensuring table settings meet dining standards
- adhering to food safety licensing requirements
- maintaining safety standards for infection control
- utilizing basic math concepts in practical situations
- ensuring effective communication with residents' families concerning care
- working well with others and taking direction from management
- engaging in conflict intervention and resolution
- performing physical tasks such as standing, moving, lifting up to 50 pounds independently and up to 200 pounds with assistance
- performing other duties as assigned
