Job Requirements

- Previous experience in food service preferred
- Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population preferred

Job Duties
- Provide assistance in all dining service functions as directed and in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Serve meals timely and ensure meals are palatable and appetizing in appearance
- Perform proper setting of tables and set up meal trays, food cards, dining room, etc
- Serve resident meals in the dining room, private dining room and deliver trays to residents' rooms or apartments
- Perform dishwashing and cleaning procedures and ensure utensils are readily available for the next meal
- Follow safety regulations and precautions at all times
- Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties according to established policies and procedures
- Ensure all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with policies and prepare food in compliance with sanitary regulations
