Job Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Must be able to safely operate standard commercial kitchen equipment
- Ability to work cooperatively with St. Vincent de Paul staff and Dining Room and homeless guests to accomplish mission goals
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to sit and drive a car, van, or small bus
- Must be able to sit for long periods
- Must be able to move around buildings and in the community
- Must be able to stoop, lift, and bend infrequently during the day
- Must be a legal U.S. citizen or have proof of legal right to work in U.S.A.

Job Duties
- Backup and support the Brown Bag food preparation
- Accept food deliveries and store items into proper storage areas utilizing standard processes and procedures
- Ensure all trash is taken out and placed in dumpsters to maintain cleanliness and safety
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room during meal service
- Prepare dining room before and after meal is served to maintain cleanliness and safety
- Collaborate with other SVDP staff for smooth operation of the overall program
- Flexibility of responsibilities and willingness to take on tasks as assigned
