Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years cooking experience preferably within the healthcare or hospitality field
- Serv-Safe certification required
- Ability to communicate by speaking, seeing, and hearing sufficiently to serve residents
- Professional and neat appearance and presentation
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Be free of communicable disease
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to relate to residents and associates in a courteous and diplomatic manner
- Completion of drug testing and criminal record background check upon hire
- Ability to bend, stand, lift, stoop, sit, walk, stretch, and lift/carry up to 40 pounds
- Adhere to and carry out all policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Experience adapting menus to specialized dietary needs
Job Duties
- Preparing and overseeing daily meal production for residents with attention to nutrition, consistency, and presentation
- Assisting in inventory and supply orders for food and kitchen essentials
- Assisting the Executive Chef with menu planning adapting to dietary needs and preferences
- Assisting in writing and maintaining staff schedules across kitchen and dining areas
- Coaching front of house staff during meal services to deliver friendly, efficient, and fast service
- Ensuring compliance with health codes, safety regulations, and allergy protocols
- Supervising resident events and special meals including holiday and themed dinners
