Job Requirements
- Experience supervising a staff of 15+ employees
- High school graduate or GED
- Demonstrated experience in food preparation and managing the front of house
- Experience in volume food production within a commercial kitchen

- Promote teamwork in providing services to residents
- Dining room management experience
- Knowledge of state food-handling and kitchen regulations
- Operation of kitchen appliances and office equipment
- Moderate-level computer experience
- Certificate or degree in food service is preferred
- Enjoyment in working with older adults
Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities of dining room personnel to provide fast and courteous service to residents
- Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services for diners
- Greet guests, escort them to tables and provide menus
- Address and solve complaints of residents, while providing exceptional customer service
- Oversee dining room server duties, while expediting drink and food orders in a timely fashion
- Assign work tasks and coordinate activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service
- Inspect dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness
