Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum two years lead server or trainer experience within fine restaurant, club, hotel, or similar institution
  • Healthcare setting experience preferred
  • Strong leadership skills to manage a diverse group
  • Ability to interpret and explain menu and coordinate meal service process
  • Excellent communication skills with residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, and subordinates
  • State applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card
  • Positive attitude and teamwork

Job Duties

  • Lead the assisted living dining room team to ensure high-quality dining experience
  • Coordinate with healthcare team regarding resident care through nutrition interventions and improving social interaction
  • Supervise staff and ensure overall operation of the dining room
  • Assist in the daily closing of the kitchen
  • Maintain high standard of sanitation in kitchen, side stations, dining room, and bar by supervising workflow and cleaning schedules
