Job Requirements
- Ability to meet facility and state immunization requirements
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Able to remain calm under pressure and busyness
- Flexible schedule with willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of working in a kitchen or dining atmosphere preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working in a dining or food service role preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well with diverse groups
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of food handling and safety guidelines preferred
- Experience in senior living or similar environments a plus
Job Duties
- Serve residents in the dining room with a caring and attentive attitude
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining service stations
- Communicate effectively with residents, guests, and team members
- Work under the direction of the Dining Service Manager
- Remain calm and composed during busy and stressful situations
