Job Requirements
- Ability to meet facility and state immunization requirements
- must be able to work independently as well as a part of a team under the direction of the Dining Service Manager
- able to remain calm under pressure and busy times or stressful situations
- flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings and weekends
- knowledge of working in a kitchen or dining atmosphere and handling food preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or dining roles preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- capacity to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment
- basic understanding of food safety practices
Job Duties
- Serve residents and guests in the dining room with professionalism and courtesy
- assist in maintaining a clean and safe dining environment
- collaborate with the Dining Service Manager and team members to ensure smooth operations
- handle food with care in compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- communicate effectively with residents about menu items and special needs
- support special events and holiday service needs
- remain calm under pressure during busy or stressful situations
