Job Requirements
- Food handlers certificate required
- ability to work flexible schedules
- minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- willingness to work in a senior living environment
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- excellent customer service skills
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure and fast-paced work environment
- ability to work in a team environment
- communicate effectively in English
- possess basic knowledge of food service operations
- good interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Serve food with professionalism and knowledge of basic food offerings and menu content
- keep dining room properly cleaned and set up to meet resident expectation
- maintain high standards of hygiene and comply with food safety regulations
- assist in setting up dining areas and resetting tables between meals
- communicate effectively with kitchen staff and residents to ensure timely service
- respond promptly to resident requests and dietary needs
- ensure all food handling certificates are up to date
