Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
- Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, or evening shifts
- Weekend availability is required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a hospitality or dining service role desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service
- Compassion and patience when interacting with seniors
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Greet residents and guests and assist with seating
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen
- Serve meals and beverages efficiently while ensuring resident comfort
- Attend to resident needs by addressing special dietary requirements and preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area including clearing tables
- Collaborate with kitchen and care staff to ensure timely service
- Uphold safety and hygiene standards in accordance with community policies
