Job Requirements
- Be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with state regulations
- have reliable transportation
- be dependable, punctual, energetic, respectful and a team-player
- be able to stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, lift and bend over most of each shift worked
- be able to attend a paid 8-hour orientation program during business hours
- be smoke-free during work hours as it is a smoke-free campus
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and politely with residents and guests
- detail-oriented with the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
- ability to explain menu items accurately
- strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Sets up dining room tables and wait staff stations for scheduled meal service
- takes residents’ food and beverage orders
- explains preparation of items and items on the menu
- transports specially requested food items or refills as necessary
- provides efficient and courteous restaurant-style service to residents and guests
- cleans away spilled food and broken dishware as needed
- clears tables of dirty dishware, silverware and linens
- wipes chairs
- vacuums floor after scheduled meal service
- sets tables for next meal seating
- is responsible for cleaning other areas of the dining room when meal service is completed
- other tasks as requested or assigned
