Job Requirements
- Minimum of three months previous experience waiting tables, preferably in fine dining
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds and pushing/pulling 50-pound carts
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and follow sanitary guidelines
- Must agree to comply with company policies including HIPAA regulations
- Responsible for punctuality and shift coverage
- Must maintain positive attitude and conduct at work
Job Qualifications
- Have at least a High School diploma/GED preferred
- Have minimum three months previous experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining preferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers
- Empathy for the elderly
- Ability to interpret and explain menu items and respond to inquiries professionally
Job Duties
- Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order
- Take orders and provide service and requested items graciously and courteously
- Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service
- Answer pertinent questions about menu items
- Assist with dish washing and distribution of clean dishes if needed
- Maintain a high level of customer service for residents and their guests
- Advise the Restaurant Manager regarding dining room status
- Set up and clean up all catering events
- Complete all assigned cleaning tasks
- Maintain safe and sanitary conditions in work areas
- Attend in-service training and education sessions
- Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
