Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience in front of the house operations
  • Ability to communicate with and understand residents and staff
  • Ability to interpret menus and coordinate meal service
  • Ability to work varied full-time schedule without late nights
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years supervisory experience in front-of-house operations in senior living, restaurant, hotel, or club
  • Ability to communicate effectively and empathize with residents, families, and staff
  • Experience interpreting menus and coordinating meal service
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to train and develop staff

Job Duties

  • Assist in providing staff education and on-the-job training for dining room personnel
  • Develop work assignments and supervise staff performance
  • Resolve resident and staff issues and communicate with Directors
  • Initiate maintenance requests for dining areas
  • Supervise and complete assigned hands-on duties
  • Maintain staffing patterns and resident preferences
  • Support team and ensure smooth shift operations
  • Attend pre-shift meetings and instruct staff
  • Train new staff on service skills and dining room procedures
  • Coordinate with Food & Beverage Manager on staffing challenges
  • Ensure timely completion of all side work
  • Assist with ordering department products including alcohol and market items
  • Support programming, reporting, and adjustments on Full Count system
