Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four or more years as a lead, head, or general manager operational manager in a high-volume fine dining restaurant
  • Competent knowledge of wines and spirits including varietals and production methods
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, online reservation management systems, and point of sales systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of property management cashiering procedures
  • Ability to understand basic math and comprehend budgeting issues
  • Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to be on feet for long periods
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles or golf carts

Job Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of daily operations including reservations management, seating arrangements, service standards, facility cleanliness and maintenance
  • Manage cost of goods sold, inventories, and order supplies
  • Schedule and manage labor to meet guest volume and labor budgets
  • Communicate company-wide internal information to the dining room team
  • Attend weekly food and beverage leadership and group meetings
  • Maintain a professional and positive work environment that fosters teamwork, growth, and development
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff to meet and exceed service standards
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members
  • Lead teams during service to uphold service standards
  • Address guest feedback and experience concerns professionally and promptly
  • Manage labor, alcohol, and operations budgets
  • Review daily financial reports to ensure labor and revenue goals are met
