Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four or more years as lead or general manager in a high-volume fine dining restaurant
  • Competent knowledge of wines and spirits including varietals and production methods
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

Job Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of daily front-of-house operations including reservations management and seating arrangements
  • Manage cost control including inventory and supply ordering
  • Schedule and manage labor to meet guest volume and budget needs
  • Communicate company-wide information to the dining room team
  • Attend food and beverage leadership meetings
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff to meet service standards
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback
  • Lead service teams to maintain service excellence
  • Address guest feedback and resolve issues professionally
  • Manage labor, alcohol, and operations budgets
  • Review daily financial reports to meet labor and revenue goals
