Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years food service experience including 3 years dining room management
  • Previous experience in both restaurant and senior living settings preferred
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Basic computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Must meet health and food handling regulatory requirements
  • Maintain current CPR and First Aid credentials
  • Maintain current Food Handlers credentials
  • Maintain annual continuing education credits
  • Ability to perform duties with or without accommodation
  • Subject to pre-employment screening including physical drug and TB testing and background check

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years food service experience including 3 years dining room management
  • Previous experience in both restaurant and senior living settings preferred
  • Strong commitment to customer service and ability to exceed expectations
  • Ability to read comprehend write and speak English effectively
  • Basic computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA local and state regulatory guidelines
  • Current CPR and First Aid credentials
  • Current Food Handlers credentials
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation

Job Duties

  • Hire train direct coach and evaluate all dining room team members
  • Develop and train dining room team on service essentials and company standards
  • Ensure a commitment to exemplary customer satisfaction
  • Serve actively in the dining room regularly
  • Create and monitor dining room team member schedules and assign daily tasks
  • Maintain professionalism and customer service focus among staff
  • Ensure dining room operations comply with health and safety regulations
  • Oversee dining room cleanliness and food presentation
  • Manage private dining room scheduling and reservations
  • Communicate with residents families guests and team members
  • Assist in planning and serving community special events
  • Attend all required meetings and training sessions
  • Uphold residents rights and company policies
  • Perform other assigned duties
