Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Associates degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
- Completion of culinary or apprenticeship program preferred
- Three or more years experience managing food and beverage or front-of-house operations in upscale environments
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull, and work continuously without extended sitting
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associates degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or similar field is highly preferred
- Culinary diploma or completion of an apprenticeship program is preferred
- Minimum three years experience managing food and beverage or front of house in country club, fine dining restaurant, or upscale senior living environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and perform physical activities required by the role
- Sufficient manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment and utensils
Job Duties
- Enhance the overall resident dining experience through exceptional management of front-of-house employees
- Provide fine dining training and uphold service standards across all dining venues
- Coordinate culinary and dining activities for the Bistro, Casual, Formal, Luminations Memory Care, Room Service, and Club Room
- Manage special events and private functions ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Supervise and lead front-of-house team with a professional, friendly, courteous, helpful, and timely approach
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to maintain community standards, processes, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within dining operations
