Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience in front of the house operations within restaurant hotel club or similar institution
- Strong interpersonal and social skills
- Ability to manage staffing scheduling and personnel evaluations
- Knowledge of safety health regulations including MSDS and infection control
- Ability to promote teamwork and provide staff training
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience in front of the house operations within restaurant hotel club or similar institution
- Excellent interpersonal and social skills to work effectively with residents patients families visitors peers supervisors subordinates and other contacts
Job Duties
- Supervises the appearance of dining room tables including table linens napkins silverware table setup centerpieces
- Supervises dining room personnel on all shifts staffing scheduling counseling orientation and evaluation
- Selects trains evaluates and recommends or carries out discipline for dining room personnel
- Maintains pertinent records reports files schedules and studies ensuring schedules meet staffing labor and budget guidelines
- Ensures all safety and health policies and procedures are followed including MSDS information safe work practices infection control and universal precautions
- Promotes teamwork within and between departments to ensure smooth operations and quality service
- Assists in staff education and provides on the job training
- Ensures dining room service complies with all relevant regulations
- Participates in cost control measures
