Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk constantly on various floor surfaces
- Ability to crouch, stoop, climb, crawl, kneel and handle kitchen supplies frequently
- Ability to push, pull, lift and carry weight up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work in a temperature-varied environment including exposure to kitchen chemicals
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Physical capability to perform strenuous tasks throughout the shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in a hospitality or food service environment is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide courteous and professional customer service
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team setting
Job Duties
- Help servers set-up tables before opening
- Help servers stock and maintain service stations with proper supplies before, during and after each shift
- Promptly clear and reset used tables
- Remove dirty stock to dish area
- Take soiled linen to the Laundry Department for laundering
- Attend required meetings
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees
- Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately
- Maintain hotel equipment in proper working conditions
- Perform any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor
