Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- recent experience in food service point of sale cash handling preferred
- must be 18 years of age or older
- no felony, theft or stealing convictions
- must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- must pass background investigation
- must obtain and maintain a gaming license
- knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations
- knowledge of Title 4 Arizona liquor law
- ability to obtain a Food Handlers card
- ability to obtain TIPS certification
- ability to communicate, read, and write basic English
- ability to work in a stressful, busy environment
- ability to pass departmental tests
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- willing to work evenings, graveyards, holidays, and weekends
- flexible to work extended hours and irregular shifts
Job Qualifications

- ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basic English
- ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service
- ability to follow instructions and work in a stressful and busy environment
- ability to pass departmental testing for position
Job Duties
- Maintain highly efficient and courteous food and beverage operations
- greet guests and anticipate their needs
- provide knowledgeable food and beverage service
- ensure consistent professional guest service with a positive upbeat personality
- maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area
- follow all tribal, city, state, and federal health and food safety regulations
- train new team members
- maintain good communication with team members
- perform assigned side work
- restock all work areas
- sweep floors, clean tables, and remove trash to ensure appearance standards
- contribute to team effort and accomplish related results
- assist in daily operation of the restaurant efficiently and cost effectively
- respond to guest requests
- monitor guests to ensure no intoxication and follow proper procedures if observed
- know information regarding all food and beverage outlets and casino promotions
- work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- demonstrate Desert Diamond Casino's on brand attitude and Spirit of Service Standards at all times
- flexibly assume additional responsibilities as assigned
- adhere to Title 4 Arizona liquor law and TOGE internal controls consistently
