Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent general educational development (ged)
- no prior experience required but experience in food service environments is valued
- no supervisory experience required
- no licenses or certifications required
Job Duties
- complete closing tasks such as storing reusable merchandise
- dismantle merchandise
- clean all equipment and areas
- store equipment appropriately
- lock refrigerators
- replenish articles
- turn off lights
- lock doors
- complete daily cleaning checklist
- organize, stock, and maintain work areas
- inspect cleanliness and presentation of porcelain, glassware and silverware before use
- maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day following a continuous cleaning procedure
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
- maintain confidentiality of company information and protect company property
- support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
- assist team in reaching common goals
- meet quality assurance standards
- move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance
- stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods or entire shifts
- read and visually verify information in various formats
- grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination
- reach above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting, dragging, and stooping
- navigate inclined, uneven or slippery surfaces and stairs
- greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- speak clearly and professionally
- answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
