Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous serving or hospitality experience preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- strong communication skills
- punctuality and reliability
- ability to follow sanitary regulations
- capacity to work independently and in a team
- basic understanding of food safety and portion control
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Capable of performing the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
- ability to understand and communicate written and verbal directions
- outstanding customer service skills
- well organized with excellent attention to detail
- aptitude to work independently with excellent time management skills
- previous serving and hospitality experience preferred
Job Duties
- Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
- serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
- prepare cold food items such as salad dressings and fruit trays
- follow sanitary regulations at all times
- provide platinum service with each dining experience
- set up meal trays, food carts and dining rooms with utensils and napkins
- assist in checking resident trays before distribution
- deliver food carts and trays to designated areas
- pour hot and cold beverages for residents
- assist residents with opening containers and condiments
- prepare and deliver snacks for special events and parties
- bus tables during and after meals
- stock food and supplies properly and clean storage areas
- provide support services to other dining rooms during events
- attend trainings and employee meetings as directed
- clean and follow daily cleaning tasks
